Fruteland Jackson - Blues 2.0

This was one of my favorite songs that was played at the open DJ dance on sunday night. While I personally didn’t dance to it, I got to watch the incredible Whitton Frank and Jenny Sowden solo dance to it and had to hold my jaw up while doing so

Anyone who listens to this and thinks it’s actually about a chair is severely missing the point :P I had one of the best dances ever to this song at Blues Shout in Boston and ever snce it’s one of my favorites (that and it’s a great song and Ruth Brown rocks).

Hugh Laurie - St. James Infirmary

Apparently Hugh Laurie put out a blues album in May and I just found out about it. I am going to just start drooling now…
